Shimadzu at the CVC 2026

Shimadzu, a supplier of analytical instruments, is actively committed to the transition to a climate-neutral economy and society. Since 2017, the japanese company has reduced its CO₂ emissions by 63% and aims to reduce them by 85% by 2030, with the goal of achieving complete climate neutrality by 2050.

We promote R&D in green chemistry, green hydrogen production and use as well as in battery research and recycling.

Shimadzu offers an extensive range of analytical solutions for the circular economy and recycling. This includes spectroscopic systems, X-ray techniques including imaging, gas and liquid chromatography, particle measurement, and mass spectrometry. Testing machines for material characterization and process management complete our portfolio.

The development goal for our own R&D is that our new systems consume at least 25 % less energy and 25 % fewer resources.

The latest (U)HPLC-system LC-2070/80 for example is made from 73% recycled material and gets delivered to our customers in environmentally friendly packaging. These new systems are significantly more energy-efficient in operation than previous models and thus actively help our customers reduce their own CO₂ footprint.

Visit us at booth B16 and discover our solutions. Take the opportunity to meet our experts in person and learn about our analytical offerings. Among other highlights, we will be presenting our GC-2050 and the IRSpirit-X FTIR spectrometer at the booth. We look forward to an inspiring exchange with you!
