The program of the Masterclasses
The masterclasses offer practice-oriented workshops in which experts present inspiring presentations and exciting case studies. They provide in-depth insights into innovative solutions and specific applications that drive the circular economy forward.
Chair of Heterogeneous Catalysis and Technical Chemistry @RWTH, Director of the Institute of a Sustainable Hydrogen Economy @FZJ and Spokesperson of the WSS Research Centre catalaix catalaix / RWTH Aachen University
Chair of Translational Molecular Catalysis, Director of the Institute of Technical and Macromolecular Chemistry (ITMC) @ RWTH and Spokesperson of the WSS Research Centre catalaix catalaix / RWTH Aachen University
Lecture information
The WSS Research Centre catalaix at RWTH Aachen University develops catalytic recycling technologies that turn complex waste streams into versatile chemical feedstocks and pave the way for a multidimensional circular economy. With currently 20 professors from diverse disciplines, catalaix spans molecular catalysis, process engineering, energy systems and sustainability assessment. In this masterclass, we will present cutting-edge examples from this interdisciplinary research and discuss perspectives for transforming the chemical industry towards circularity.
