As an exhibitor at the Circular Valley Convention 2025, Interzero is providing exciting insights into its vision of a world without waste. Find out how the company, as a leading service provider in the circular economy, offers innovative solutions for closing material loops, thus making an important contribution to resource conservation and sustainability. In this blog post, we take a look at the latest projects and digital developments from Interzero, which will be presented at the trade fair.
A world without waste – that is Interzero’s vision. A world worth living in for today and the generations of tomorrow. For us as a circular economy service provider, the circular economy is the key to combining innovation, responsibility, sustainability and the securing of raw materials.
Interzero – Partner for sustainable circular concepts
As an innovation leader in plastics recycling and a leading service provider in the field of closing product, material and logistics loops, we support customers from all over Europe and from all industries in closing loops for various material flows and thus securing the supply of raw materials in the long term.
In line with our ‘zero waste’ concept, our range of services extends from consulting on the recyclability of packaging and the transparent take-back and reuse of used packaging, products and materials of all kinds to a wide range of services in the area of recycling and the reuse of recycled raw materials. By returning important materials and by using more and more recycled raw materials in production, we work with our partners to realise ecological and economic potential.
Sustainable management – circular and digital
Digital technologies make it possible to track materials along the entire value chain. With the help of data, more and more processes can be made more transparent and efficient and potential waste of resources can be minimised. This not only makes the circular economy more practicable for companies, but also more profitable and actively contributes to climate protection.
What can digitalisation do for the circular economy?
Claudia Wegener, CIO of Interzero since January 2025, will shed light on this question in her presentation ‘Why digitalisation is becoming a game changer in the circular economy’.
According to Fraunhofer UMSICHT, Interzero’s recycling activities could save 1.2 million tonnes of greenhouse gases compared to primary production and 11.1 million tonnes of primary raw materials in 2023 alone. As a pioneer in the circular economy, Interzero is winner of the German Sustainability Award for 2024.
Visit the Interzero booth in the Expo area. You can expect new ideas on how loops and processes can be designed sustainably. Find out, for example, how we keep used smartphones in the loop with the help of our AI-controlled reverse vending machine, the ReBox. Find out more about the ReBox in our next blog article.
