SECARA is scaling a novel chemical recycling process for engineering plastics such as polyamides, polycarbonate, and PBT. Using an innovative catalytic approach, we convert plastic waste that is currently non-recyclable — particularly materials reinforced with glass fibers, flame retardants, or other contaminants — back into high-quality “drop-in” monomers at low temperatures.

These monomers are chemically identical to fossil-based monomers and can be directly integrated into existing production processes. In this way, we enable truly closed material loops, particularly for the automotive and electronics industries.

We are continuously expanding our network of industrial partners across the entire value chain — from waste stream sourcing and off-take agreements for recycled monomers to partnerships for plant scaling and industrial deployment.
