Paper Earth develops circular materials by transforming discarded textile waste into high-quality pulp, paper, and packaging. Textile waste contains valuable fibers that are largely lost in today’s waste streams. Paper Earth unlocks this resource and converts it into an alternative raw material that can replace virgin wood pulp in the paper and packaging industry. By connecting the textile, paper and packaging industries, the company enables a circular fiber system that reduces waste and lowers pressure on forests. Based in Aachen and incubated at RWTH Innovation, Paper Earth works with brands and manufacturers to introduce circular fiber solutions into global packaging supply chains.
