Circular-ready biobased lightweight materials based on polylactide (PLA)

To enhance sustainability of products circular design approaches to keep materials in the loop are a key. Anyhow, the consumption of secondary energy during use-phase needs to be part of design consideration. Lightweight solutions can support sustainability goals but may conflict with circularity. This presentation explores a potential solution using a polylactide multi-morphology lightweight approach.
