Metal recycling in the global competition

Although it is well known that metal recycling can save large amounts of energy and therefore CO2 emissions, there are numerous reasons why it is often not done. These include political framework conditions, but also a growing number of complex alloys or product designs. As a result, recycling is often at an economic disadvantage compared to primary raw materials. So what needs to be done?
